Join the Fond Du Lac County Care Giving Conference presented by ADRC. A day of education and support for those who care. With keynote speaker, Marty Schreiber, a former WI Governor and caregiver, with his presentation: My Two Elaine`s – Learning, Coping, & Surviving as an Alzheimer`s Caregiver. Marty candidly counsels those taking on this caregiving role and offers advice that respects the one with Alzheimer’s while maintaing the caregiver’s health. With patience adaptability, and even a sense of humor Marty shows how love continues for his Second Elaine.

The keynote speaker will present from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. followed by morning and afternoon workshops on a variety of important topics.  Workshops will include Estate Planning, Healthy Living for the Brain & Body, Home Modifications & Safety, Dementia: Dealing with the Now & Moving Forward, and more.
